Abominable Language of Dog Behaviorists

One of the common complaints from the misfits of dog training is that anything beyond the audio range of the misfit island of dog science sounds like garbled nonsense.  Words such as energy, dominance etc fail to show up on the misfit radar of those who are far removed from the land of common sense where most others live.  While words such as prozac, euthanasia etc seem to ring out clearly on the misfit island perhaps I can help build some sort of bridge of understanding.  If you check out my relational model you will find packaged under the misfit tree clearly marked examples of how a dog’s decision making process is influenced.  Of course you will need to trade in your misfit agenda first to make room for the new shiny example of how to save dogs.  Of course we all know that can’t happen.  So as you make your way back to misfit island please ponder the possibility that perhaps,  just perhaps,  you are hearing what you want to hear based on your misfit ideas.
