Dog Psychology - The Litmus Test
Beyond the idea of leadership the true test of any model or method is
found in its effectiveness with creating relational change. The issue
of effectiveness is directly connected with the role methodology plays
with changing how the owner thinks and interacts. While walking and
running around a course may be great exercise for the owner and dog
often that is as far as it goes when it comes to creating meaningful
change. Using treats to train a dog may make the owner feel good and
appear great from the surface but do nothing to change the core of the
relationship. Allowing ones feelings to lead rather than relational
truth is the biggest stumbling block happening in main stream dog
training today. What I show is that training is really an intervention
at the relational level. Those in need of help have already allowed a
misalignment to happen within the relationship. Unfortunately the
majority of those seeking help and in need of the greatest change will
look to systems which allow them to mirror their emotional needs. If
you are seeking real answers to your issues I would encourage you to
check out this one of a kind system of training.
